Primal Paws was founded by lifelong friends Megan and Eloise, brought together by a shared love of animals and a belief that dogs deserve better nutrition.

Growing up alongside horses, dogs, and muddy boots, animals were more than a hobby. They were life.

As adult dog owners, that passion became personal.

Megan’s French Bulldog and Eloise’s Miniature Pinschers each came with their own needs, sensitivities, and health challenges.

And finding food that addressed them proved far harder than it should be.

The gap between what was available and what their dogs genuinely needed is what sparked Primal Paws.

Both founders bring more than a love for animals.

Megan balances life as a hospital nurse, mum, and dog professional. Eloise runs a thriving dog grooming business, and sees firsthand the effects of poor diet on coat, skin, and condition.

Primal Paws was built in the evenings, weekends and in-between moments.

A business driven by experience, and made with the same care they put into feeding their own dogs.
